Well, I finally have the iPhone. I think it really is all that it’s cracked up to be.
Yesterday I woke up way too early in the morning to get to the Apple Store at 5:45. They opened at 8. So I knew going into it that I’m going to wait at least two to three hours. I needed to get this phone. My other phone could barely be counted as one since it didn’t even ring.
I talked with the folks ahead of me in line quite a bit. Amy and Jim if I recall correctly, which I probably don’t. If you’re reading this and want to punch me, don’t; I really can’t remember names and faces.
Oh the irony:
The line ran right in front of the Verizon store. Suckers.
The Apple folks were pretty gracious and sent some folks out with water while everyone was waiting.
Eventually we got kicked out from Chipotle’s patio, which we got into since it rained for a brief spell. If you look closely, you can see Stephen from work hanging out in the line; he got there around an hour after I did.
The store seemed more crowded than this picture makes it out to be.
At last, she is mine!!
